I have still been making ice cream. I have started using only 1/2 cup sugar and about 3/4 cup full cream milk now in my ice creams. Little less sweet, so you can eat more, right? My latest ice cream is POG. On Maui Hawaii we always have POG juice, which is Passion, Orange and Guava. It was hard to find Guava in Melbourne. I did find an Apple and Guava nectar juice. Apple part was subtle so was going to be ok. I used 1 cup of the juice, 1/2 cup sugar, 40ml Cointreau (for the Orange) and 1 can of passion fruit pulp (11oz) and 2 1/2 Cups (600ml, 20 fl oz) Cream. It came out really well. I am getting a Guava tree. So if I get some fruit from that, I will try again to see if I can get a bit more Guava taste to it.
